  • Mini Reese’s PB Cups (8oz bag)
  • Teddy Grahams (10oz box)
  • M&Ms (10.70oz bag)
  • Chex (12oz box)
  • Cheerios (3 cups)
  • Chocolate Chips (2 bags)
  • Powdered Sugar (2 cups)
  • Peanut Butter (1/2 cup)

Directions:

Chocolate Covered CheeriosThese are easier than you think!

  • Cheerios: 3 cups
  • Chocolate Chips: 1.5 cups (use white chocolate if desired)
  1. Melt chocolate in microwave safe bowl. I start with 30 seconds. Stir. 30 seconds. Stir. Then 10-15 seconds until almost all the way melted. The chocolate is quick to burn so be careful! You want a smooth consistency.
  2. In medium/large mixing bowl add cereal and pour melted chocolate on top.
  3. Stir with rubber spatula until thoroughly coated.
  4. On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, place coated cereal and spread.
  5. Place in refrigerator until hardened (roughly 30 minutes).
  6. Once hardened, you can break into clusters to mix into the trail mix.

Puppy ChowI make the entire box and keep the extra puppy chow in a bag for enjoying!

  • Chex: 12oz box
  • Peanut Butter: 1/2 cup
  • Chocolate: 1 bag (use more depending on how coated you want your Chex to be)
  • Powdered Sugar: 2 cups
  1. Pour box of cereal into large bowl. Set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate and peanut butter in microwave safe bowl. I start with 30 seconds. Stir. 30 seconds. Stir. Then 10-15 seconds until almost all the way melted. The chocolate is quick to burn so be careful! You want a smooth consistency.
  3. Pour melted chocolate and peanut butter over Chex cereal.
  4. Stir with rubber spatula until thoroughly coated.
  5. Pour powdered sugar over mixture and stir until thoroughly coated (use more depending on how coated you want your Chex to be) – You can also put the chocolate covered Chex into large 2-gallon bag and add powdered sugar into it. Then shake until coated.

Rudolph Mix:

  1. In large serving bowl or bag, add mini peanut butter cups, m&m’s, and Teddy Grahams. I use about half of the box.
  2. Add chocolate covered Cheerio clusters in and puppy chow. Use your discretion on how much you want. I use about 1/3 of completed puppy chow mixture.
  3. Stir mixture up! Enjoy!

To gift the Rudolph Mix, fill an 8oz mason jar with the mixture and tie the lid with a decorate holiday ribbon! Or, serve in large party dish at your next holiday party!

Cheers,

Laura
